Game Mechanics

This is a Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition game of using the rules found in the current Players handbook and Dungeon Masters Guide. Of course these rules are used as only a guide line and maybe modified. For that reason this page is here to explain how some of the in game mechanics works.

Magic Items & Enchantments

While magic items can be found throughout the world when exploring and looting most of these are normal items that have been enchanted with removable enchantments. Any magic item found can be taken to someone with the appropriate knowledge and have the enchantment removed. Likewise if a player own an enchantment they wish to have put onto a weapon or other item they can take it to the appropriate person and have the work carried out.
Enchantments can be acquired in multiple ways: found randomly in the world on scrolls or in gems, bought from shops or disenchanted from an item. All enchantments that are yet to be used are stored either on a scroll or in a gem. If an item is disenchanted for its enchantment a gem is required to be stored in. The only enchantments on scrolls are ones that are newly created and haven’t yet been used.
